Scotland travel to England on Sunday to compete in this season’s UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship finals. Pauline Hamill has named her Scotland women’s under-17 squad for a training camp which took place at Toryglen Regional Football Centre between Friday, 15th November and Sunday, 17th November. This was the last training camp before Scotland travel to England to compete in the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship finals, which are taking place between 26th November and 8th December 2013. Pauline Hamill’s side, who have reached the finals for the first time, will play three-time champions Germany on 26th November in Hinckley, two-time champions Spain on 29th November in Burton upon Trent and three-time runners-up France on 2nd December in Chesterfield. I had the pleasure of running a team building sessions at the training camp last weekend. The cohesion of the team was already remarkable. A lot of great, confident characters who all showed that not only are they good players but good people. They were a great bunch to work with.
