Life is all about choices. Good or bad. Right or wrong. We all have to make choices. Large and small. From the foods we choose, where we live, whether we drive somewhere or walk, etc. Choices of practicality or choices of life. Choices that effect others, choices that effect ourselves. There are many different types of choices. We live in the moment, however from the moments we have gathered; and the experiences we have gained; we learn to know what choices are positive and what ones will be negative. What choices will leave you feeling good or guilty. We know that decisions we make can lead us down different roads. We can't always control other people's reactions, we can only influence them. Through our choices. Do you choose to follow your gut? Do you choose something that gives instant satisfaction or weigh up the consequences? You are free to make your own choices, but you are not able to make your own consequences. Nobody said life was easy, but we always have the choice of how difficult we want it to be. Our choices can sometimes define our character. Sometimes we have to make choices that are in line with our goals. In line with what we want in the future. The big picture. Sometimes in moments, it's hard to open eyes up to the big picture, but we must try to see how we can shape our own future. What choices have you made today that makes you feel proud? What choices have you made that helped yourself and someone else? Sometimes we do not make choices and stay the same. If you want to improve yourself, you have to try new things and see what works and doesn't. There is a saying that the definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. If you keep doing what you always do, you keep getting what your getting. We have to continually ask ourselves, 'what's going to be different today? How do I want to see my life from here on out?' Sometimes these simple questions, can help you make positive choices. Do good and feel good. Do bad and feel bad. It's that simple.
