Yoga is a practice which enables you to push yourself to the limits and allows you to challenge yourself. Through concentration and focus, you can completely immerse yourself in the activity and be in the moment. As much as I am a hyper active person with lots of energy, yoga allows me to channel my energy and focus in a composed way. It also engages my competitive side as usually my competitiveness comes mostly with myself. Yoga especially hot yoga allows me to channel my energy into pushing myself further each time. Also, concentration of not slipping in my pool of sweat off the mat. Relaxation, and meditation is so good for your body and allows you to release tension created from our every day life. Anyway, I will jump off the yoga soap box and go plan my yoga retreat in India (that's a wish and unfortunately not an immediate goal). Nevertheless hopefully we will be able to take elements of our practice to the beaches of Barcelona and enjoy our own hot yoga. Namaste.
